As my wife, Erika, says, “If there were a better place to live, we’d be there!” Telluride’s San Juan Mountains are the most breathtakingly beautiful and majestic mountains that you will find anywhere in the world. Whether it’s skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, fly-fishing, skate skiing, or any number of mountain activities that Telluride offers, you cannot help but escape into nature and these inspiring mountains on a daily basis. The ski resort offers something for everyone from excellent beginner terrain to some of the best extreme and off-piste skiing in the country – all in a remote location that keeps crowds in-check and lift lines often times non-existent. Culture is alive and well on all levels, from iconic music festivals to local theatre and art. Healthy and safe living exists for our children as well, with excellent school options and an “it take’s a village” approach to raising them. The passion for keeping Telluride true to its roots is magnified by the strength, commitment and involvement of the people in this incredible community.
