New county Covid protocols looking to summer…..

County officials announced new summer protocols with Covid in mind as we segue to our Telluride summer period. Most importantly, short term rentals will be allowed starting today on a limited basis; said basis should decrease in time if all goes well. Continuing, indoor restaurant dining will now be allowed on a limited capacity basis, and we’re no longer asking visitors to quarantine for 14 days. We’re seeing more and more visitors and second homeowners arriving in town and with that, the town is very slowly returning to some normalcy. One more thing is the town of Telluride leaders have decided to close-off westbound traffic on main street this summer, instead, they’ll be turning that into a fenced-off area with additional tables for restaurant dining and space for retail shops to exhibit some of their offerings.

The weather has been beautiful, frankly a bit too dry. We’re already into fire bans, which is a bummer. All that said, we’re into our first monsoonal flow period, thought light, but we’ll take whatever rain we can get.

Stay healthy and well out there!
