Telluride and San Miguel County drop to level Green for virus precautions….

Great news in that Telluride and San Miguel County have dropped to level Green in the world of Covid precaution. It’s starting to really feel and look more like normal around Telluride, granted it’s still spring offseason. With an incredible 80% of the county vaccinated, people are getting more and more comfortable with gathering, not wearing masks and basically getting some much needed normalcy back. Unfortunately, just this week the Telluride town council voted 5-1 to keep the mask ordinance in effect, which was a very debatable decision and outcome. Looking to the summer season upon and the real estate market, I’m confident we’ll continue to see record low amount of inventory for buyers to choose from and said low inventory will continue to push prices/values higher and higher for single family homes, condos and vacant land. How busy will Telluride be this summer? Good question, very likely busy, but let’s hope not as busy and crazy as last summer. Pandemic or no pandemic, Telluride summers are always pretty busy, and this summer will see a return to many of our summer festivals, but on a lesser scale. If you’re considering a Telluride, Mountain Village, Ski Ranches, Aldasoro home, condo or vacant land purchase I’d encourage you to be fully prepared to move fast and take action when the right property presents itself. As always, I’m here to assist however I can with anything related to Telluride.
